You go Texas!

It is with a high degree of satisfaction that I’ve been watching the latest dust-up between the limp-dicked federal government and the state of Texas.

Sadly the Federal Government is limp-dicked in EVERY SINGLE aspect of their being except dealing with American Citizens.

American Citizens, our government rapes metaphorically, beats, incarcerates, drugs,  forces submission and obedience if a citizen questions anything, shits and pisses on our head and all the while tells us everything is just hunky dory.

Don’t you dare speak ill of the government! The FBI will kick your door in at 4am, shoot your dog who rightfully attempts to defend you and your family and haul you off to the nearest gulag where you’ll rot for the next indeterminant number of years. Speedy trial? Yeah, MY ASS!

It is because this is how I feel about the government that I’ve been laughing my ass off as Texas and the Feds square off.

You see, I think it’s pretty damn obvious that the Federal Government has failed in its constitutional duty to secure the nation. Texas on the other hand has had quite enough of the bullshit and has stepped up to secure its own border.

I’ll tell you what, if Texas stopped me as I was driving across country and passing through their territory to see my passport I’d be just fine with it. If Texas chooses to secure all its borders that’s gonna be just fine with me too, and I could see myself asking the great state of Texas if I could live there.

See, I want to live in a place with secure borders. I’d even be willing to help secure a border with a bunch of like minded volunteers.

Since the Federal Government has FAILED Texas, and Texans in managing the border, it’s completely rational to me that the State of Texas would take action to insure its own security and wellbeing.  The people of Texas have been very patient and kind for THREE YEARS!

Eventually anyone, no matter how big hearted, is going to run out of patience.

The question I have is what does the DHS think they’re going to do? Are they planning to roll tanks to Austin, or Eagle Pass, to enforce an illegal order from Washington D.C.?

What then? Do the MORONS in DHS and the White House really believe they’ll be able to set Texan against Texan to enforce the opening of this stretch of border again?

I think it’s more likely that Texas, and I mean the good people of Texas will say “FUCK THIS SHIT!” Then demand Texas secede from the Estados Unidos and revert back to being an independent republic. Oh and just so everyone is clear… They’re going to start drilling oil again too. So we’ll all be able to thank Texas for affordable fuel.

The latest report I saw said the DHS has given Texas until today for Texas National Guard to clear out and return control of the border to DHS and CBP.

In other words to just open the border and allow everyone and anyone to cross without vetting, inspection, or ID.

Hey, that means DHS is also perfectly happy being complicit in Sex and Drug trafficking. Is the big guy, (Biden) getting his 10% of that action too?

Will DHS be the relevant department for aggrieved citizens to sue when some Arab/ Iraq/ Iran/ Hamas/ Islamic/ whatever middle eastern fuck blows up a building full of women and children? Those are typical islamic targets if what we’ve seen in Israel is any indication.

That’s not being racist or Islamophobic. That’s a fucking statement of fact. So all you bleeding heart leftists… Shut the fuck up. It’s going to happen and we all know it’s going to happen. We just don’t know when.

Oh, I know you pearl clutching liberal dumbfcuks, “3 People drowned, because Texas took control…”

Uh NO. Yeah people drowned, but not as a direct result of Texas having control of the border. Here’s a couple of little facts. They’re harsh, and they’re going to trigger you.

Animals die during migrations. It’s a fact. Humans are animals, some animals die during migration, what’s happening at the border is migration, that’s why we call them migrants, ergo, humans are going to die. Deal with it!

I notice you’re not at all concerned about the homeless citizens already on the streets of cities all over America dropping dead from hunger, poor health care, exposure, or drugs. But somehow these poor migrants illegally crossing the border deserve heart wrenching sympathy?

Uhhh NOPE! They fucking chose to come here illegally. They fucking knew what they were doing was against the law. If they die in transit so the fuck what? I guarantee you that there are trails of bodies in the bushes all along the “Migration” paths. Nobody is shedding any tears for those folks who didn’t make it.

Here’s another thought. If you’re a migrant, (A.K.A. Illegal immigrant,) and you can’t swim…

What the fuck did you think was going to happen? Did you believe angels from El Norte were going to swoop in and pluck your dumb ass out of the water?

I’d say don’t bother to retrieve the bodies, let ‘em wash downstream and serve as an example. Same goes for those who die in the desert.

I know I sound brutal about it, but come on. At last count, the number of migrants has exceeded the actual populations of several states. Clearly this is fucking unsustainable.

On the other hand now would be a really great time to establish a false ID. Go to Mexico, send your documents back home via a friend or Mail. Cross the border illegally, get apprehended, then give CBP a false name. Collect your free phone, your 5K and notice to appear in 2035. Go to MA collect your driver’s license, and green card, then return to your home with a nice neat legal government issued fake ID. Oh and lets not forget that FREE Healthcare you can get in California as an illegal.

I really think if Texas were to break free of the suffocating clutches of what our insane federal government has become, I’d honestly consider moving to Texas!

Like my ancestors before me, I will be free, I will not submit to the hideous perversion our politicians have made of The Founders dream of a Constitutional Republic.

I’d be willing to bet that at least some of our founders would be demanding duels at dawn with the jackasses in Washington D.C.

Oh this is so out of control.

You’ve got to be kidding me!

This is nothing more or less than Piracy.

It harkens back to the Barbary Pirates of the 16th and 17th centuries. There were wars fought against these Pirates. Hey, guess what? They were Muslims too! Funny how that works.

These pirates are obviously well funded and you do have to wonder which country is providing the pilots, the weapons, and oh, the ships actual location or the manifest. This particular operation was supposed to be so the Houthis could seize an Israeli shipment.

I’d say we need to go back to the old mechanisms of deterring piracy. Shoot to kill. Dump the bodies overboard. I’m the kind of asshole that would allow them to land their pirates to determine that they are in fact pirates. Then start shooting the pirates on board, and make sure that a surface to air missile blows their transport right the fuck out of the sky.

I think that private mercenaries should be allowed to provide security for every single ship passing through the Gulf and the Red Sea.

BTW were those missile pods mounted on the helicopter? Really? isn’t that shit usually reserved for governments? I pray the armaments are not from Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan pull out.

I must be getting old, or people are just more insane.

I’ve recently come to the conclusion that I don’t want to live someplace where pot is legal.

I really don’t like the smell. Here in the neighborhood there’s a number of folks who smoke it all the dang time and even with their houses closed up for the winter, I can still smell the stuff.

That’s bad enough but it’s rather like someone smoking cigarettes or drinking in their own home, it’s their deal and who am I to judge.

Recently, I’ve noticed that I can’t go anywhere anymore without smelling pot. Sitting in traffic at a stop light, in parking lots, and near office buildings.

I can’t help but notice that some of these places I couldn’t light up a Marlboro, but someone smoking pot is oakey dokey.

Unlike cigarettes pot is an intoxicant. Pot is more like alcohol, but people are smoking pot while driving just like we old farts used to smoke cigarettes. This concerns me, and I think might be one of the reasons that driving in California has gotten so damn bad. More people than ever before are essentially drunk driving.

Sitting in traffic with my windows down, I’m getting hotboxed too. Why should I have to keep my windows up and the A/C running because you guys want to smoke pot in traffic? Furthermore why can’t I go back to smoking Marlboros?

Oh Right… Smoking cigarettes is bad for you, but smoking pot is healthy. So the effects of second hand pot smoke aren’t bad? How about second hand intoxication? What about the children riding with mommy and daddy smoking pot in the car?

Today people gasp in shock and horror when they realize people in my generation were trapped in cars with our parents smoking cigarettes. But there’s no similar outrage with pot? Talk about a double standard!

Is it any surprise that jobs aren’t getting done well?  How many fast food orders have you had screwed up? How many places have you been shopping only to find there is no organization to the merchandise?

I’ve been noticing it. I’d been pondering it until I was sitting at a traffic light with three cars around me reeking of pot.

Then watching these folks drive and thinking they were drunk, everything clicked in my head.

They were in fact intoxicated. They shouldn’t have been driving. This was midday on a weekday, I couldn’t help but wonder where these people worked.

Then I thought about the quality of the work they’d be doing.

These are the same people who are appalled that in addition to my having an ashtray on my desk at work, I’d sometimes have a beer at lunch then go back to work. At the time, I was a bench technician and my workstation had a soldering iron. The rosin in the solder was probably worse for me than my Marlboro smoldering in the ashtray.

Please notice, I said “A Beer” not a six pack.

The funny thing is that a joint might fuck you up. A single beer probably won’t impair you at all. These days, your company will say you’re not allowed to have a beer at lunch under threat of immediate termination. But they’ll say nothing about that “Medicinal” joint at lunch.

I’ve got another datapoint to work with when it comes to moving. The list is growing…

Four Seasons but with only decorative snow. I’m over 2 – 10 feet of snow falling in one storm. I like the fall change of leaves and gentle snowfall with accumulation that doesn’t last too long.
No State tax.
No Legalized Pot
Low Auto Registration, $500 a year to register a car? Really?
Generally homogeneous demographics, I’m over “Diversity”. California making me feel like I should speak Spanish instead of English has burned through my diversity quota.
Low Property Taxes.
Good Law Enforcement.
Strong constitutional beliefs. In other words no monkey shines with The Constitution when some activist group gets all mouthy about how they think we should live. I am totally over  being told that I have to live my life to spare someone else’s feelings.
I might be content with someplace that looks a lot like Mayberry. That might be a little too boring, but I’d be willing to give it a try for a while.

As an aside,

Trying to find out about Marlboros is stupidly difficult. Finding pictures of the logo and various boxes is more or less easy but there are a bunch of new packages so since I was a Marlboro smoker I was curious. MY GOD!!! I never did get to just identifying what these new packages were. They want your to register, and then answer a bunch of legal shit, then agree to be on their mailing list, then verify your age, then make sure that you’re in a country where they can send you information.

FUCK!!!!

On the other hand, I can tell you anything at all about pot.

The one thing I was able to determine is that California charges an excise tax of $2.87 on every pack of smokes and that the feds charge $1.01. so $3.88 of every pack of smokes is excise taxes which doesn’t include the sales tax in whatever county you’re in. It looks like California s charging 22% on pot.

Obviously since pot is still illegal on a federal level there isn’t any federal tax on pot. California is making a killing!

Not being able to just look something up annoys the shit out of me. This registration and age and double secret handshake crap is simply designed to make people not want to ask questions.

Asking about cigarettes doesn’t mean you’re going to start smoking. It means that you had a question. It’s not technically censorship but it’s damn close. Apparently Phillip Morris makes e-cigs but they’re only in Europe and therefore the web sites redirect you to a page saying “NO NO NO YOU NAUGHTY PERSON” you’re not allowed to see this. Which is censorship…

VPNs with servers in Europe make that a nothing barrier. Nothing aside from annoyance and reminding us that surprise! We’re not actually free.

I don’t recall voting for any censorship on the internet at all, so why is it there?

Hey you Colorado Folks, you no longer have the burden of voting!

You’re Welcome!!!!

Now you don’t have to read any pesky voter pamphlets. You don’t have to agonize over your vote, or who’s running for whatever office.

You’re free of the burden of responsibility.

From here on out you’ll never risk being like Florida when it comes to counting votes. In fact, the approved candidate will “Win” Colorado within minutes of the polls opening. 

If you’re only allowed to vote for one candidate it greatly simplifies things doesn’t it?

You’re all such “Good Little communists” you’ll be well rewarded.

Colorado… The first American Communist state. Praise Jesus!

Colorado… Has been added to the states that I will not consider living in. I may visit once more for a wedding, but after that… Nope!

I’m waiting to see what California does… You know California is going to try to outdo Colorado. I don’t know what California will do but I’m sure it’ll be a complete subversion of what the majority of us older folks believe America is / was about. 

Perhaps, California will handle it by simply arresting Donald Trump and his staff when they land for a campaign stop. That would one-up Colorado. Especially if they reactivated Alcatraz. That would show Trump!

At this point I fully expect California will “Forget” to print Republican mail in ballots, but they’ll make sure that Democrat mail in ballots are printed and mailed out at least 6 weeks early.

Not that it matters in California, the Republicans are such a minority here, they couldn’t fill a sports stadium.

In that regard California has already bested Colorado. There’s no real need to count votes here. Pick any liberal money spending scheme, or any democrat candidate. Whatever is the absolute worst for the people, budget, or state and they / it  automatically wins.

I really was trying to ignore the News…

But Come On!

Colorado has decided to keep Trump off the ballot using the 14th amendment section 3, and they’ve made this decision by assuming his guilt in the Jan 6th “Insurrection,” (what the rest of us call a riot,) without benefit of a trial. 

Folks, no matter where you come down on Trump, Jan 6th, Republican or Democrat, this is wrong!

Honestly, it’s something that should alarm every single American Citizen. I’m serious, all of us should be shitting ourselves and preparing for what inevitably happens next, if you believe the history books.

That Judges in Colorado’s courts think this is okay, calls into question their competence, and their ability to be unbiased in administration of the law.

Frankly, if this is allowed to stand then “Democracy” as the Democrats breathlessly say they’re protecting, is already dead and gone. (The minor little issue that our government is, or was, a constitutional republic seems to escape them.) However what I think they’re trying to say is, Democracy = Our form of government with checks and balances and supposedly equal justice for all, is threatened.

We still have to wait for the Supreme Court challenge to be heard. If the Supreme Court of the United States allows the Colorado ruling  to stand, there is no justice system in our country anymore.  We’re going to find ourselves in an era of “Show me the man, I’ll find the crime,” justice.

By the way, that’s normally the way the justice system works in communist countries, and dictatorships.

I’d submit that politicians have already destroyed that “Democracy” they claim to protect. Oh, and it’s not just the Democrats. The Republicans had a hand in the destruction of our form of government too. Every compromised vote, every rancid pork bill they passed, eroded our government and enabled ever greater corruption.

We can’t reasonably expect any form of government to stand under the weight of corruption from bottom to top.

Speaking of which… By Colorado’s logic what about Joe Biden?

He’s under impeachment inquiry, There is some evidence to suggest that he’s been in bed with China and Ukraine which also appears to fall under the same section of the 14th amendment.

Corruption, providing aid to China, and what appears to be a litany of charges, are dogging Joe Biden aren’t they? Shouldn’t Colorado remove him from the ballot too?

Oh right! We only believe unproven allegations when it’s a candidate from a party we don’t like… Otherwise everything is hunky dory!

I realize I might be the canary in the coal mine here. 

That being said, I’ve suggested outlandish theories in these very pages only to have them come true!

Remember Afghanistan? Way back in the day, I theorized that we’d end up just like the Russians. Recall, they spent years in Afghanistan just as we did. You might also recall that eventually they bailed and left behind The Taliban. Uhhh, we spent 20 years there and what was the result? It sure as fuck wasn’t a democracy.

One thing I’ve concluded, about terrorists and corrupt politicians. You can’t take half measures. They’re like a cockroach infestation, with cockroaches you have no choice but to gas the place and kill them all, or they’re going to come back. We’ve seen it with The Taliban, so the theory holds up in one instance. To prove it we may have to march corrupt politicians to the gallows here in America.

We won’t of course…

There was a time when corruption was a very bad thing. Now it’s business as usual. The obviousness of the two tiered justice system is new. There’s always been a difference between trials of rich people and trials of us commoners. I’m not so blind or deluded that I hadn’t noticed. Back 10 or 20 years, you had to really be paying attention to catch it.

Now it’s not as much about who has how much money… Justice is dictated by the people threatening to burn a city down. Or by people who don’t like a particular political candidate. The Law??? Toss that shit out with yesterday’s dirty diapers and unwanted fetuses. 

There was a time when the failures of the Justice system could be overlooked, those failures were somewhat rare and had to do with esoteric issues. Now, failures of the justice system are much more common. This new failure mechanism isn’t a failure in trials, it’s a failure in bringing people to trial, and an almost infinitely flexible criteria for charging someone with a crime.

If I’m Black and toss a molotov cocktail into a drug store. I’m simply expressing my opinion. If I’m White, or Asian, and do the same thing, I’ve committed a crime. 

If I organize a protest supporting Hamas and their butchering of children, wherein I block a freeway, or invade and occupy the capital interfering with congressional business, I’m exercising my protected free speech.

If I organize a protest supporting the IDF and Israeli rights to defend themselves, wherein I block a street in New York I’m inciting hate. Likewise, If I walk through the Capital on Jan 6th carrying nothing but a flag, and interfering with congressional business,  I’m an insurrectionist and subject to the full force of American Law.

These things suggest to me that the America I was brought up to respect, revere, and protect has been destroyed from within. 

It’s depressing as hell, but there’s nothing that can be done. The only solution is to reboot the government according to the Bill of Rights and Constitution. That can’t happen today because there are too many dissenting voices and too many people who literally hate everything this country stood for. That leaves the only option for control being a military dictator and even if that dictatorship was only supposed to be temporary while rebooting to original principles, we know we’d have a dictator for life.

Even if there was a civil war or some kind of revolution, there would never be consensus about how to restart the government. We’d still end up with a military dictator. The thing about dictators is that they have no desire to give up power once they have it.

Sadly, I think the American Experiment is over. We had a good run. 

I think it’s time to locate a quiet state that remembers its roots as a commonwealth. Preferably someplace with a history of fierce independence, individual freedom, and rights. Oh and that state needs to have a constitution that is enforced and honored. Because at this point, it looks like our Federal government has decided to wipe their asses with the actual constitution.

Sorry to be such a downer, but honestly folks… I think nationally, we’re well and truly fucked.
