Wow, the Hegseth Confirmation hearing was pretty ugly.

Hegseth did well. 

The Democrats demonstrated exactly why the American People have soured on them.

Hirono, Warren, Schumer, Gillibrand, they’re all nasty and obviously going to vote NO on every single Trump nominee. They’ve been telegraphing their intentions for weeks. These people are not interested in a fair hearing, the American People, or anything other than thwarting the Trump presidency. It’s only about revenge, and the nation or people be damned.

It’s this behavior that has consistently enraged me and led me to hate every single Democrat in Congress and anywhere else in Government. They have nothing to say that I’m the least bit interested in.

That’s a problem. They’ve so turned me off that I refuse to listen to them. Everything they say is an assault to common sense and affront to my intellect. Moreover, I wouldn’t trust any of them to tell me the correct time.

It’s a problem all of us who’ve tuned these rancid douche bags out aren’t watching their slimy duplicitous behavior. Without supervision and consequences they will become more corrupt and believe and act as if they are well above the law.

I find myself in favor of arresting every democrat in congress and charging them with treason. Oh don’t worry, that’s just to start. The Republicans are not innocent either. Their time would come as the Democrats started ratting out everyone, while trying to get plea deals.

Maybe I’m overwrought. I may also be an outlier.

Except that I’ve noticed and encountered a surprising number of people expressing similar outrage at our Government in general, and the Democrats in particular.

After the way some of these Congresspeople have come at Hegseth, he’s earned more of my respect. I’d have leapt over the table and been beating the ever loving shit out of these evil fucks.

I hope he’s confirmed and after the confirmation I’d love for him to tell Hirano, “Yes, in fact I do support abortion, the retroactive abortion of my country’s enemies!”

Sen Mullin took all the hypocrites on the other side of the aisle to task in one of the most beautiful things I’ve heard lately.

Senator Mullin took the scumbag Democrats off at the knees, and it was epic.

There was one senator that asked in a sarcastic way (castigating the Democrats,) about the supposedly racist tattoo Hegseth has on his chest. It was clear the Senator wanted to rub the Democrats noses in their own shit. Hegseth has a Jerusalem cross, a symbol of Christian faith, that also is on the floor of the National Cathedral, and appeared on Jimmy Carter’s funeral program.

The News media and the Democrats tried to spin this as some kind of white supremacist shit. These people have already managed to make virtually every single Norse symbol associated with racists and white supremacists. Now they’re working on Christian Symbols.

Jerusalem Cross the Cross of Jerusalem Meaning Symbolism and Origins.The Senator asked the question so that Hegseth could explain the symbols origin, that it was on the floor of the National Cathedral, and that the source of the supposed scandal stemmed from 2020 when Hegseth was disqualified from protection detail for the inauguration of Joe Biden. He was disqualified because someone thought the tattoo was racist, and instead of anyone actually looking it up, the military sent him home.

I hope Hegseth is approved and look forward to him cleaning house and making our military strong again.

Our military should make our enemies shit themselves, not be the source of bad trans jokes.

Take Heed political workers. Attend what the party of the working class has done to their workers!

I’m sorry about that title! I feel a little bit like Loki.

That can’t be said for all the DNC staffers kicked to the curb after Kamala Harris loss. 

The DNC laid all these workers off, with little to no notice, no severance, and a swift kick in the ass.

Kind of like the way the DNC has treated black voters, latin voters, gay voters, and women voters for decades.

You know, “Now that you’ve voted for our candidate, FUCK OFF! You’re of no further use to us, you filth!”

Arguably, that’s been their attitude for decades. Bill Clinton swayed the gay vote promising equality. Uhhh what did that get us? Don’t ask, Don’t tell. Some progress on HIV treatments which were horrifically expensive. Then we were forgotten until the next election.

Nothing much changed in minority communities either, but they too continued to eagerly gave their vote to the DNC in exchange for promises of unicorns & rainbows.

I’m sure that between election cycles the DNC routinely trims staff, but this latest massive layoff is newsworthy because of the numbers and the way in which it was done.

I feel sorry for the workers. They’ve taken a double hit. They worked their asses off to get Kamala elected, lost, and then get thrown away like last weeks fish. That’s gotta sting.

On the other hand it provides a view into the value the DNC and the upper echelon powers within, place on their constituents. You know that all the workers were true blue Democrats. They all voted straight Democrat tickets and were therefore no longer useful.

It’s this kind of thing in microcosm that led Jerry to leave the Democrat Party after a lifetime of volunteering his time.

I can’t pinpoint the exact moment he left the Democrat Party, but I recall attending a Democratic function with him maybe 10 years ago. I enjoyed myself, I listened without making a scene. We stayed to the end and when we got in the car Jerry was very irritated.

I thought perhaps I’d done something, (and wondered if I should plan on sleeping on the couch,) so I asked. He replied that I’d been very good considering the circumstances and my very Republican leanings. He thanked me for not causing a scene and holding my tongue even when he’d seen others clearly baiting me.

He went on to say that he was very offended and concerned for the Democrat party in our county because of their attitudes. I asked him to clarify. He said, “They’re not at all interested in volunteers, all they want is money.”

In years past he’d often played local Democrat cocktail parties and receptions for free. He’d stuffed envelopes, even knocked on doors to hand out campaign flyers. This particular year they told him to essentially get lost, “But don’t forget to vote for our candidate…“

After a few years of this he stopped volunteering for the Democrats and started doing paid gigs for the local Republican committee. They fed him, paid him, thanked him for playing, and treated him with respect. 

At some point, Jerry concluded that the local DNC chapter wasn’t an aberration. It was instead a reflection of the larger Democrat party.

I think that’s when he decided to leave the party of his parents, & family.

For years after, he’d laugh every time he got an “Emergency Fundraising” notice from the Democrats. He especially liked the hourly or daily emails from Nancy Pelosi proclaiming Democracy was threatened by Trump or the Republican Party, saying that she’d match his donation.

He sometimes wondered aloud where her matching funds were coming from. Was it her money, a donors money, or a lie to get him to loosen his purse strings? In the 2019 & 2021 run up to the elections his email was clocking fundraising notices about every 15 minutes. He’d laugh and joyfully press “DELETE”.

The DNC is wondering what happened. I think it simply became blatantly obvious to the voter base how much the DNC loathed the voters.

Once the elite effete snobbishness became so readily apparent, the American people who had grown tired of endless lies, turned away.

It’s going to take some time for the DNC to win back voter trust and they might not at this point. 

Jerry said when asked, “The Democrat Party isn’t what it was and I feel that I’ve been left behind.”

Once he started questioning their platform he found that much like the LGBTQIA2S community, He felt was no longer represented, and they were only interested in reaching into his pocket. That made him feel used & nobody likes being used.

I’m sure that’s the way the workers the DNC has cast off, feel. It’s probably like doing the walk of shame the morning after a one night stand. You feel dirty, stinky, and keep wondering what that sticky feeling in your underwear is.

Not to be a wet blanket…

Donald trump.I don’t mean to be a bummer here, but I’ve been noticing in recent weeks, particularly since the election, that everybody seems think Donald Trump is going to be able to fix everything all at once.

Having these kinds of expectations, I think that this is going to create substantial amount of disappointment. There’s no way he can walk into office day one no matter how well prepared he is, and take us back to the land of plenty.

I have no doubt that he’s going to walk into office and make sweeping changes but it’s going to take a while for those sweeping changes to trickle down to the average person.

Trump is not a messiah. He’s a man and some of his ideas will be good others, not so much.

Taxes are not going to drop instantly, food prices aren’t going to be suddenly affordable, interest rates won’t drop instantly either.

We will still be carrying a lot of the burden that the Biden administration has saddled us with and it’s going to take some time for those bad decisions to get unwound. Then there’s a whole question of whether or not some of these poor decisions can be unwound in the first place.

It’s entirely possible that the rhinos in Congress in cahoots with the damn Democrats in Congress will find a way to continue to screw us.

There’s also the beginnings of some kind of “green energy” scandal that the main stream media is not covering. I’ve seen now two blips about it. One was on Breitbart and the other was in another alternative reporting system, whose name escapes me. A point of interest is, this Biden administration scandal sounds a lot like Solyndra 2.0.

It’s a ticking time bomb. It will probably explode shortly after Trump takes Office. Trump will end up having it hung around his neck, the media, and particularly the Democrats, who are really upset that Trump won in the first place, are going to point to Trump and say it was his problem, his scandal, he created it.

Once that hits the media, it’s going to be just like the “Very Fine People”, or the “Trump cleared rioters from a Church for a photo op”, or “Tump grabs women by the pussy”, misrepresentations or outright hoaxes.

It’ll probably create just enough confusion that we have to have congressional investigations and a long drawn out hearings, and all of that just to find out that the scandal actually started because of a Biden administration mismanagement.

I’m not saying that the Biden administration was, you know, the right hand of Satan. I also don’t think that Joe Biden or Kamala Harris were fully cognizant of everything that’s been going on.

I really suspect that the hands behind the Biden administration are a bunch of ultra left new world order nut jobs, and they created a situation where we had government running amok bypassing what few controls or limitations on power were still functioning.

I also think that Trump will, at the very least delay or otherwise throw one hell of a monkey wrench into the new world order types grandiose plans for a “perfect world”. That alone may buy time for others, like DOGE and voters to effect enough change that we can turn back the clock on corruption.

On the threshold of World War III

Well, what a lovely Thanksgiving this is going to be.

It’s not that Thanksgiving itself is all that bad. I’ve been invited over to a neighbor’s house so that’s going to be nice, and means that I can drink and I don’t have to worry about driving. The worst that could happen is I’ll fall down in their driveway, then roll down the hill right into my driveway.

Unfortunately, we’re sitting on the verge of World War III. How is that going to play out in dinner conversation? It’s like having the sword of Damocles hanging over our heads, we’re back to Cold War era dinner conversations.

At least in the Cold War, we knew we had mutually assured destruction, these days not so much.

President Biden.I am astounded that the Biden administration is poking the bear the way they are with the Vladimir Putin. At the moment he is the only one that appears to be sane. That’s saying something completely strange and I didn’t have this on my 2024 bingo card.

Putin, as I’ve said before has some legitimate issues.

1) Ukraine as a NATO member puts NATO on Putin’s front door step. We didn’t allow it when the old USSR put Nukes in Cuba. Why do we expect Putin to allow NATO to put Nukes in Ukraine?

2) Putin knows as long as he maintains a war footing with Ukraine he stands to gain a couple of things. Land, odds are good that he’ll be able to keep what he’s captured or at least some portion of it. There are people in Ukraine who are ethnically Russian and they apparently want to be part of the mother country. I could see an election being held that allows the Russian portions of Ukraine to decide for themselves where they send their taxes. 

3) The longer Putin keeps the war going, the longer Ukraine is not a NATO member. I’d bet that he’s just going to keep this mess going long enough to get Trump back into office, then he’ll negotiate with NATO & Trump some deal that keeps Ukraine out of NATO for the time being. I say this because Putin knows he can’t negotiate with the Biden administration. 

I believe Putin can’t negotiate with the Biden Administration for a couple of reasons. I suspect that a large portion of the Biden administration actually believes the throughly debunked, disproven, pack of lies about Trump / Russia collusion. You know the lies and rumors started by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

That nasty bitch telling lies and Adam Schiff & the media constantly repeating lies has, I believe damaged world peace.

The other reason is one that has been glossed over a lot. Joe Biden, through Hunter has ties and did favors for the Ukrainian oligarchies and Burisma. There is at least one of the business people who claims to have the receipts on money paid to Joe Biden for favors.

Then there’s evidence suggesting there were the biolabs in Ukraine that are reported to have done work for god knows who, in the United States, prior to COVID-19. These labs were a mechanism for Fauci et al, to get around the restrictions on gain of function research, and keep their hands clean.

It is not in Biden’s or his administration interest to stand down from this shitty little war they’ve been feeding because if loads of hard evidence show up, Biden is toast. 

I suspect that’s why Biden has authorized the use of the long range missiles, which require United States personnel to fire. Meaning, the US military is actually firing weapons into Russia.

You want to tell me again what a bad shit crazy & unreasonable man Putin is? He could have declared war on the US and the UK, but didn’t.

Right now, we, the entire world, are skating on the razors edge with Western leaders apparently trying to piss Vladimir Putin off.

President Putin.Lest we forget, there are people in Putins government who have been sharpening their teeth since the 60s & 70s. They’re a lot more nationalistic and war mongery than Putin. I would imagine there are some very contentious meetings happening in The Kremlin every day. 

Yes, I understand that the Russians started this war, (in my opinion because of Ukraine beginning the NATO entry process). However, Western leaders have placed Putin in a very awkward position. That he’s keeping a lid on this bullshit is impressive.

I personally think that we should all send very polite messages to President Putin saying “Спасибо, сэр”(Thank You Sir.) Because after his demonstration of the hypersonic MIRV he put us all on notice. 

Some reports say that weapon exceeded the speed (Mach 10), President Putin said it operated at. To me that suggests that perhaps they didn’t open it up all the way. That would make sense because the distance between Russia and the target was relatively short.

Uhhhh, we can’t shoot down something moving at MACH 10. 

We really need to applaud and thank president Putin for showing restraint.

Instead idiots in the West, The Biden administration among them, went to a higher nuclear readiness level, which Russia has no choice but to answer with a higher level on their part. Do we see a pattern here?

This shit has got to stop! If it doesn’t, we’re going to have a misfire, then a horrific accident, then all out war. Nukes, tactical or otherwise are not an option. Yes, I’ve joked about stopping global warming by Nuking our enemies.

I never considered the possibility that someone would be reckless enough or foolish enough to push us to the brink of another war. Then along comes Biden… And NATO.

I really had high hopes that all the nukes would be dismantled and their fission cores used to fuel power plants bringing free energy to everyone. Why free? Because every citizen in nuclear capable countries has already paid for the R&D on nuclear weapons. They should see a peaceful return on their investment. Free electricity seems like a great start!

It doesn’t look like peace or any other good things are in the cards, near term. 

Thanksgiving it is, with conversations steered away from religion and politics.

The Wailing and gnashing of teeth is getting boring

The shrieking, & wailing is annoying enough.

Reading about psychologists (then seeing the same person on TV), telling people that maybe they shouldn’t go to holiday dinners with their families who voted “Incorrectly” is a good thing, is just flat stupid on it’s face.

If you don’t like your family you were never under any obligation to have Thanksgiving Dinner with them. You don’t need an election as an excuse. Alternatively, in the South we had a simple rule. No talking of politics, or religion, (aside from the prayer over dinner,) on Thanksgiving. It was enforced by cutting off the bourbon, or denying uncle Bob his favorite sweet potato pie. For one stinking day, the family didn’t grind axes, we all sat down, joked & laughed, watched a football game or two, and remembered we were family.

The day after Thanksgiving, all bets were off, until we all got together again to celebrate baby Jesus’s birthday.

I’ve not seen anyone rending their clothing over the election, but I have seen at least one dumb assed woman walking the dog & pushing a pram, while wearing a handmaids tale costume. I’ve not seen any episode of the show, nor read the book(s)?

Pete Hegseth.As Trump has been naming his cabinet & administration picks the wailing has jumped up a notch or two.

I like Trumps nomination for Secretary of Defense. Pete Hegseth. I like having an Army combat veteran in that position. Two bronze stars might suggest that he’d be mindful of what’s at stake both in our military readiness and the lives of our troops.

The mainstream media has portrayed Hegseth as a News host, mostly ignoring that he’s done other things including writing a best selling book.

He’s just the SOB I want in the position to deport illegal alien immigrants.

It’s not that I’m wanting to be cruel, but I realized I’m sick and tired of weak willed politicians giving our tax dollars away to the point that you’re better off being an illegal alien, or part of a questionable foreign government, than being a retired person in this country.

For that matter, the amount of tax money that has been sent to fund proxy wars is obscene and should have been spent here, you know, on Americans. Tough concept I know…

Think about it, we’re being bled dry like a dog with too many ticks. We’ve got mouths to feed, high food & fuel prices, disasters in the form of hurricanes and flooding to attend to. But we’re sending billions to Ukraine with no accountability, and apparently no-one has thought to turn the cash faucet off?

Kamala Harris’s election debt is a prime example, she’s a poster child if you will, for the problem. Her campaign raised, and spent a billion dollars. Then ended up 20 million dollars in debt. That right there is a fitting example of what’s wrong with the Biden / Harris administration in particular and more broadly the Washington establishment. She apparently thought she’s just magically going to have as much money as she wanted.

I’ve been concerned over the past 3 or 4 years that very few in Washington have mentioned any concerns over the shit ton of money we’ve been burning. If Harris is any example, then I know where that problem came from.

I am hard and dripping over the thought of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy heading up a government waste elimination department. It will be nice to see the cockroach bureaucrats being bent over their desks, taking it up the ass, then sent on their way to the unemployment line. Better yet, the soup line. Yes, I realize that this kind of disruption may in fact cause some problems.

It’s also possible that we’re looking at something more substantial than “problems” and more like the Great Depression. So be it!

That will be the end of the Democrat party in the country, and Communism for at least the next 50 years. Hopefully, the memory of the American people will be long and bitter towards both.

The dying main stream news is doing all they can to keep their base revved up and angry. That’s laughable when some of the more popular talking heads have seen anywhere from a 35 to 60% loss in viewership over the past few months.

Who knows? We might finally be rid of the shrieking harridans on The View, I’m not holding my breath. Hollywood is nothing if not iterative. They might cancel The View, but they’ll respawn the bitter vitriol on another hateful daytime show. The up side is that we won’t have to hear the unhinged bullshit of Whoopie Goldberg and Joy Behar.

The thing is, most everything I’ve listed above is just on endless repeat. Trump is naming people that he thinks can do the job. Each time he names a selection, the media machine churns and comes up with anything they can to say how bad it is.

Then it’s Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

This morning, the establishment media added something new, They’re screaming that his choices aren’t diverse enough. 

I think they’ve missed the point. Trump ain’t hiring folks for the color of their skin, he’s hiring folks based on their proven ability, & whether he can work with them, that’s it.

All the rest of the DEI bullshit is out the fucking window in his administration.

He’s going full businessman mode. “What can you do? When can you do it? How much will it cost? When will you be done?” 

I think DEI and all this other artificial racial hiring bullshit is about to get tossed out & replaced with a meritocracy, the way it should be and the way it should always have been.

It’s about time. If you look at the government like a house that needs a major remodel. When you look for a contractor, do you look in the phonebook to pick a contractor by race? Hell no! You ask your friends who they’ve used and if they were happy.

The mouthpieces for the Communist/Democrat party are completely hypocritical in their criticism of Trumps hiring practices. They damn sure wouldn’t hire the bottom of the class heart surgeon to crack their chest open, based on them being the only black/indian/mexican doctor, just to virtue signal about DEI.

The funny part about the media trying to pump the diversity narrative is that for the better part of a decade, they’ve been telling us Trump is a racist.

I find myself thinking, “So what if Trump’s cabinet isn’t diverse? I mean He’s a racist right?”

The Democrats, The Media, Hollywood, and a lot of other organizations should shut up and stop beclowning themselves.

Oh yeah, what about all those “Important” actors who were supposed to leave if Trump was elected? I’ve put a list up, I’ll add to and update it to see who really does what they say.
