Could this be a pattern?

Kamala Harris 1 640x480I see President “I don’t know where I am” has appointed Cackler Harris his new point person on Islamophobia.

Hooray!

With antisemitism up 400% and followers of Islam / Supporters of Palestine, trapping Jewish students in a college library I tend to think the problem may not be Islamophobia.

I know, I know, under the umbrella of “National Strategy on Islamophobia” they’re including antisemitism. Honestly it seems more like creating a protective organization for the KKK and as an after thought, saying they’re going to work with the NAACP.

Give me a fucking break!

Antisemitism is the problem. If you want to fix Islamophobia which is a misnomer. (People aren’t generally afraid of Islam, people just don’t like the assholes who follow Islam.)

Anyway, if you want to put an end to Islamophobia the answer is simple. Get rid of Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Remove them from congress and when people aren’t being irritated or outright pissed off by these rancid cunts every fucking day, then perhaps Islamophobia will be dialed down.

Or you might consider making CAIR pay for having funneled money to Hamas, and other radical Islamist organizations. They’ve been investigated time and again, with credible outcomes suggesting that criminal charges should be brought, but nothing ever happens. The Islamic people get all up in arms and start making threats. Then politicians get worried about potential violence and the investigation is allowed to die.

By the way Americans really don’t like that shit. We don’t like that a minority group can threaten violence and get away with whatever the hell they want to. Especially when if Americans do the same, they’re branded domestic terrorists and subject to arrest.

However, the pattern I’m starting to notice is this:

Whenever the White House doesn’t want to deal with something and wants nothing to change about whatever the “It” is. They appoint Cacklea Harris to take care of it.

In other words the Powers that be make Harris the fall person and are destroying her career, (if you can call it that,) while Joe is slowly self destructing on the world stage.

Neither of them could get elected to scoop shit out of a Dog Park. The country knows it, and the world knows it. Which means that we’re going to see escalation in warfare and violence across the planet and perhaps even here at home running up to the 2024 election.

It makes sense, all the bad actors better get what they can get while they can because if a conservative Republican wins the election, there’s going to be a lot of folks having to crawl back into their festering holes, until another weak assed President gets elected. But they’ll be able to keep the new lands or resources they’ve managed to take by force.

On the other hand, if by some act of Satan, Biden gets another term, or some other Democrat sycophant is elected then the conflicts will go on, and we’ll all be run into the poor house unable to pay back the loans we took out to … Support? Appease? Conflicts and people that want nothing to do with us but take our money.

At this point I feel like we fucking OWN Ukraine. I think when this conflict is over, they’ll need to be sending us shipments of goods and raw materials to repay the debt with interest.

I’ve asked the question for years, “Why do the American People always end up footing the bill for other peoples fuck ups?”

When you look at all the money the American Tax payer has dumped into failed countries, often filled with people who hate us the legitimate question is, “What did we get for our effort or money?”

Maybe we should have been shipping oil home from the Middle East, Perhaps we should have been mining Afghanistan and never fucking left. Their mineral resources alone are going to allow China to fuck us for decades to come.

How about us backing the Shah of Iran, and then watching that puppet government collapse into the Mullahs we have now? Those are just a few examples. Why does the UN always get access to American Troops to cool a conflict? Isn’t that what the UN peacekeeping force about? Why is it that somehow the US always ends up sending more men and resources than practically any other UN nation?

Honestly, these are some questions that Americans should be demanding answers about. Maybe from here on out, American assistance comes with a price tag!

Cackling Harris will be as ineffective on Islamophobia and Antisemitism as she’s been on everything else. She’ll be telling us that Islamophobia is caused by people not liking Islamic people and that somehow Israel is responsible for creating islamophobia because the Jews don’t get along with the Muslims and perhaps Jews should just give Palestinians more land then Islamophobia would be a thing of the past…

She’ll do it with a fucked up word salad but she’ll do it.

We got a new IOS and a Speaker of the House

Mikejohnson2 1 3301794256I’m happy about the Speaker because he seems untainted by the rampant corruption in Washington. Time will tell. I do really like the thought of him whipping Congress into working something like real business hours instead of what we’ve been seeing. We’ll never get our money’s worth out of Congress. That’s a given, but maybe this new guy will put an end to Congress sitting around jerking off instead of passing budgets, laws, and finding ways to cut the obscene waste our government finds all too easy to create.

I’ll admit my fingers are crossed that this guy isn’t corrupt. Louisiana has a long and storied history of corruption in politics so I’m taking a “wait & see” position.

I’m hopeful though.

Iphone 15 pro max renderYesterday Apple released a lot of software.

I’m most excited about the new IOS 17.1 release. Because my iPhone and watch having weird glitches was annoying. The weather complications on my watch being blank most of the time, but intermittently working was really annoying.

I spent part of the morning updating everything in the house. Thus far all the goofy crap my watch and phone were doing appears to have been fixed. I’m sure as I move forward with the new IOS I’ll stumble across new bugs. I just hope those new bugs aren’t as plentiful as the bugs I was seeing in IOS 17.0.3.

I’ll admit that the updates went pretty smoothly. You could only appreciate how happy I am about that if you knew how much Apple Iron there is in this house.

While I was waiting for software to download and load, I managed to make a lot of headway on my list of dumb things I have to do. So the time wasn’t wasted.

I used to sit and watch the update process. I don’t anymore. I figure that watching it isn’t going to make it be any more reliable or move along any faster. It’s almost binary now. Either it works or it doesn’t. One path causes me no trouble and I get what I expected. The other path, something has gone horribly wrong and I’ll have to figure out how to fix it.

Either way, there’s little sense in my watching the screen for some cryptic message that won’t mean anything to me or to an ill trained first tier technical support person I reach at Apple.

Sadmac1

I guess that’s me applying the “Don’t worry about it until it happens” philosophy of life.

There is one thing I don’t do. I don’t update everything at exactly the same time. Typically I’ll let the phone finish before I update the iPad, computer, HomePods, AppleTVs, and watch.

I have this vision in my head that I start the update process on everything at once. Then everything failing and seeing sad Mac faces everywhere. Which would mean I couldn’t even email for assistance.

Remember the Sad Mac?

I had to laugh at myself about the Dynamic Island.

At first I was like “Yeah, So what?” Then yesterday after the updates completed I realized that I’d been seeing the Dynamic Island all along.  True there are only a few apps that I have which make use of the Island while I’m doing other things. But the Dynamic Island is actually there all the time and providing me with useful information. It’s so seamless and honestly I expect useful information to be presented exactly where the Dynamic Island presents it that the island was almost invisible to me.

I have high expectations of software. So I’ll have to say to Apple “Good Job”.

Now let’s have a look at other apps both Apple and third party to see if Dynamic Island integration can be useful.

I’m also liking having the always on display on the new phone. I didn’t think I’d like it but I do. Now I want to get a magsafe stand for the bedside table. So I can use the whole standby functionality thing. I haven’t had a bedside clock for years. It’s weird that my bedside clock became my phone, wand now my phone is morphing back into a bedside clock.

Apparently I’m not the only person who’s thinking this way. MagSafe stands, particularly the one from TwelveSouth are backordered all over the place.

Well, off to continue the sorting and tossing of crap out of the house.

I hope everyone has a really nice day.

Would your employer pay you 400K a year if you were this employee?

Employee statement:

I won the job after a couple of interviews.

I signed a bunch of documents in the first few days. I got a neat office and housing accommodation too. I got this great title. My employer doesn’t want me driving, they take care of all my transportation needs. Wherever I need to go, they make it happen.

I get to meet all kinds of interesting people. About half the people in the company don’t like me,  I get to call them bad names. Unlike in the past, now I am expected to call people names and talk about how threatening they are. I never get taken to HR about it either.

I do most of the things I was supposed to do, and because of my position I can say I’m done by noon.  Then I can go take a nap or two. Whatever doesn’t get done one day can be done the next. Besides there are other people in my office that can do the work.

I “work” from home a lot, I’m often “working” at the beach. Other people get to do that why shouldn’t I? I don’t even think about the cost of guys walking on the beach in suits & ties, or the other guys patrolling out in the ocean away from the beach keeping people away from me.

I get to do what I want and anyone that say I’m doing things wrong is a bad person, who needs to be silenced. Often they are. That makes other people say I’m doing it wrong and bad at my job. I tell them to hush-up, or else…

Would anybody’s employers put up with an employee as described above?

None of my employers would have put up with me only putting in half a day. None of my employers ever paid me more than 96K per year either, usually I got paid around 55 – 80K per year plus insurance benefits. For that amount of money I was expected to be in the office at least 5 days a week 8 – 10 hours per day and if necessary on weekends.

I’m not complaining about my previous employers requirements, it was the job. I performed the required tasks, put in the time, and got paid. They didn’t care about my politics or personal life, I didn’t care about my coworkers politics or personal lives. We weren’t working at the company as a social event, or to make friends, we were working for paychecks that facilitated our pursuit of goals in our personal lives.

I’m sure you’ve all recognized the person I’m talking about. So I ask you, if this was your gardener, or your pool guy would you keep paying him? I wouldn’t!

So why is this employee still on our payroll?

Just asking.

“To Teach Him a Lesson?” And in doing so you screwed us all? NICE!

John Rutherford, a Republican congressman out of Florida’s district 5. Jacksonville I’m looking at YOU!

John Rutherford headshotAnyway, John Rutherford said recently in an interview that he voted against Jordan over what Rutherford characterized as “personality flaws”, and to “teach Jim Jordan a lesson”.

Oh? What lesson might that be John Rutherford? Are you teaching Jim Jordan that you’re  a vindictive little bitch?

It wasn’t only Rutherfords vote that left Congress without a speaker for more than 20 days and made the Republican Party look like the keystone cops, But his attacks on Jim Jordan have become increasingly personal.

Okay so he doesn’t like the Jordan… So the Fuck what!

That’s not the point. The Point Rutherford, you pompous, vindictive, shit, is to put the country first. Personal issues between Congressmen should be way the fuck down the line.

I’d like to know what Rutherford is pissed about. Did he discover that Jim Jordan has a bigger dick one morning in the Congressional Gym Locker room?  Lets face it Jim Jordan does have that big dick energy going when he starts asking questions in hearings.

I don’t know if Jordan would have been the best man for the speaker’s job. I do know that we need a speaker to kick Congress in the ass and get shit done.

I hope that Jacksonville has the good sense to give Rutherford his walking papers and replace him with someone who thinks about the Country not just their own ego.

Wait What??? I’m so confused again!

Biden is building the border wall?

Biden

Didn’t he promise America there there’d not be one more foot of wall built after he took office?

Didn’t the Democratic Party tell us that “walls don’t work,” didn’t they call anyone supporting border walls racists and white supremacists?

So how is it that the Biden administration has reversed itself?

Could it be that all of us who were supporting a border wall are not in fact racists or white supremacists but simply understood that we couldn’t support uncontrolled illegal immigration.

Could it be that Walls do actually work? Could it be that Biden lied in his campaign promises?

Could all of these “Settled Facts” the Democrats have been preaching to us might actually be wrong?

Say it isn’t so!

Uh Huh…

We See you Democrats!… We see that your words are nothing more than pandering to get votes. We see your lies and deceptions.

Ayanna Pressley

I happened to catch an interview with Ayanna Pressley (who I think is an evil, evil, woman,) where she was trying to slime her way out of questions about The Biden Administration building a chunk of wall.

First she said is was some holdover from Trump Era budgeting. When she was asked why then, the construction had languished for 2 and a half years, and why it hadn’t fallen under the same cancellation order Biden signed on day one of his Presidency, Her story changed.

The best part of the interview was that the reporter, (surprisingly from MSNBC, CNN, NBC, ABC, or CBS, I wasn’t paying attention,) asked Representative Pressley if walls work. This was after years of “The Squad” saying that they don’t.

Grudgingly Ayanna Pressley actually admitted that walls do work. But if she could have killed the reporter killed with a look, she would have.

Then we have Hillary saying out loud and on the record in a CNN interview that she believes the MAGA republicans should be “Deprogrammed”.

Hillary ClintonThat is another way of saying being “Reprogrammed”. As in those subjected to this procedure, will come out the other side thinking just the way someone wants them to.

The Chinese, North Vietnamese, Russians, and innumerable other dictators and despots can, and probably have written books about reprogramming human subjects.

Stalin and Mao, called it a re-education camp.

In China and Russia, “Reprogramming” or “Deprogramming” had a 100% success rate. Those that didn’t take to the new programming didn’t survive.

All I can say is we dodged a bullet when Hillary lost the 2016 election.

BTW it’s interesting to note that she still claims the election was stolen from her. Yet she’s not being dismissed as a lunatic, nor is she being chastised or denigrated for her assertion that she won the Presidential election.

Stacy Abrams also is an election denier. Yet she’s on the boob tube all the damn time spouting that she won both her failed gubernatorial election bids.

Emperor PalpatineHas anybody but me noticed how truly haggard Hillary Clinton looks these days? I guess fomenting all that hate, vitriol, and evil takes a toll on you.

If she’d ended up in the Oval Office, by now she’d look like Emperor Palpatine

This is why I don’t trust the government. It’s why I especially don’t trust the Democrats.

See I look at it like this, if my other half, a guy who was forgiving beyond belief. A guy who always saw the best in everyone, and who gave even the most evil people, the benefit of the doubt…

If a person like that found enough wrong with the Democrat Party that he left them after a lifetime of association, volunteering to raise campaign funds, and his whole family being Democrats, Then there has to be something seriously wrong.

Needless to say his departure from the Democrat party got my attention! In part, because he wasn’t all that political. For their shenanigans to have caught his attention, and offended him that much says a lot.

No, he didn’t go Republican he went independent.

Finally, we lost McCarthy as Speaker of the house.

I’ve got very mixed feelings about it. On the one hand I applaud holding him to his promises and agreements. You know, those promises and agreements he made to get into the speakership in the first place.

Honestly I’d like to see every member of Congress and our entire government for that matter fitted with shock collars. If the collar determined the person was lying it would hit them with 50,000 volts.

Lie to the American people 25 times and the collar kills ya!

I bet that would put a stop to a lot of the Washington D.C. Bullshit!

I digress.

On the other hand, I don’t think the timing was particularly good to have to cycle through however many votes it’s going to take to elect a new speaker.

But I did very much enjoy Nancy Pelosi being tossed out of the secondary office that she’d occupied as Speaker of the House. I’d have loved to be a fly on the wall when she heard about that. I’ll bet she swore like a drunken sailor. Yeah, I don’t like her. I admit it!

I’m concerned that the Republicans will or already have screwed us all… again

I say that as someone how left the Republican Party for much the same reason as my other half left the Democrat Party. Shenanigans, and the fact that they no longer represented us or our interests and they weren’t, (in our opinions,) serving the people who had elected them.

This particular foolishness and divisiveness among the republicans may have made folks who were considering not voting Democrat this election cycle reconsider which party they’re voting for.

The Republicans have a very thin majority, they really should be using it wisely.
