The most trusted name in news…

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

These are the people who spoon feed the masses daily news which in turn low information voters use to make decisions about who to vote for.

I long for the day when the news moved slower, and the journalists were interested in FACTS, not spin.

With the internet at our fingers, it’s nothing to see an article on Brietbart, Fox, The BBC, Le Monde, or Deutsch Welle, and think, “That sounds fishy” then track the story to its source.

It’s not uncommon for there to be some spin in any article due to the journalist’s own beliefs. The question is, has the journalist allowed their bias to skew the story in such a way as to misrepresent the actual facts.

CNN, MSNBC and the main stream media have allowed their biases to completely overwhelm many of their stories and almost all of their reporting.

That’s bad enough, however it gets worse. Their editorial staff is more concerned about their dismal ratings than journalistic integrity, so you get un-vetted, questionable reporting at best, and worst (or in CNN’s case normal) they place Hong Kong where São Paulo Brazil is.

As a blogger, I don’t have high journalistic standards to uphold. I get the luxury of doing nothing but Op-Ed pieces, I do basic checking and try very hard not to froth at the mouth.

I try very hard not to say something entirely stupid even if I’m only a blogger expressing my opinion.

I always do my best not to drool stupidity on the keyboard.

Let me explain…

Americans not wanting Illegal immigrants is not the same as Americans not welcoming Immigrants.

I know the subtlety is easily lost in the endless politically correct churning of the mainstream media.

Immigrants are by definition folks that have gone through the process of asking for permission, and filling out endless applications to move to the United States.

They are patient, and law abiding, they’re generally looking for a new life and willing to assimilate into the fabric of our great nation. Often they are escaping the oppression of a government or political system that punished them for being who they were, for having dreams, or for disagreeing with totalitarianism.

Generally, these people do not wish to bring the ills of their former nation to their new adopted country. They don’t seek what they had at home, they seek a future of freedom and opportunity. (Unless they’re Muslim… another story entirely.)

Illegal Immigrants may want many of the same things, but there is one major difference and lots of little differences between the Illegal Immigrant and the legal immigrant.

The major difference…

The Illegal Immigrant has, as their first act in a new country broken the law. There is NO discussion here, no excuses, it’s a matter of fact. Crossing the border into another country without permission is illegal. Therefore an Illegal immigrant has broken the law.

Many, though not all illegal immigrants are simply criminals in their own country and seek to escape justice by hiding among the shadow population in this country. These folks bring their criminal ways with them.

Enforcing a closed border, Unreasonable?

It’s not unreasonable to want to defend our border. It’s not unreasonable to send folks packing because they snuck into the country.

What is unreasonable is not enforcing the laws of this country.

It’s unreasonable to distribute Illegal immigrants across the nation, free them on a promise, and then expect them to show up in court. Particularly if those illegal immigrants are underage children. It makes no sense that our government is essentially asking minors to enter into a legal contract, in a country whose laws they don’t understand.

In the current climate where we have borders that are not secure, and our government secretly distributing illegal immigrants throughout the country, members of my own family are being placed at risk.

Yes… a cracker, honky, lily white, (gasp) conservative male has relatives that are of Latin American decent. 

They’re children, they’re American citizens, and they’re AT RISK!

Follow this scenario.

My elderly parents shopping with their grand children who tan very well, encounter folks that are angry about the lawless illegal immigration that our government is allowing.

This angry mob points to the kids, demanding to see their immigration papers (which of course as American citizens they neither have, or need.) My Dad gets pissed off and tries to protect his grandchildren then sustains injury. Meanwhile my Mom attempts to escape the mob only to be called to account for harboring Illegals!

The kids are traumatized and have seen the ugliest face of humanity, all the while not understanding what they did wrong. (Because Unknownof course they did nothing wrong!)

The scenario above isn’t beyond possibility. Especially if our government continues to sanction and assist illegal immigration. Eventually Americans are going to get pissed off and when they do a lot of innocent people are going to be hurt.

I feel for the folks who want to come to this country, I really do. That being said, I absolutely am 100% against having our borders unsecured, any and ALL amnesty programs or doing anything with the illegals involved in our border crisis EXCEPT returning them to their country of origin immediately.

For me it’s personal.

I believe it is totally unconscionable and dangerous to Americans, for the Obama administration to harbor these people, and ignore the will of the Citizens.

5 year old rape victim dies in Herat

I originally saw this on Breitbart but followed it back to the Afghanistan Times (the link above).

Frankly, my brain rebooted.

There are so many things going through my head I’m not sure I can cogently prioritize them all.

The doctors at the hospital covered the cause of death, describing it as choking, instead of butfucking a 5 year old child to death. The boys, (I sincerely question what is meant by “boys” in this context) have been arrested but will probably be found innocent of the rape charges.

It’s the other details that make me positive we should have nuked the entire area, carpet bomb style. Sterilize the whole country, make it visible from space as a glowing wasteland, but I get ahead of myself.

The hypocrisy of these people is overwhelming. At the same time a 15 year old girl can be beaten and tortured by her in-laws for refusing to become a prostitute, apparently the victims of rape are often considered criminals and immoral because they were forced to have sex prior to wedlock.

THE VICTIMS??? What about the owners of the DICKS that violated children?

While I was trying to find the article about this boy on the Afghanistan Times site, I found another article about a three year old girl being raped by an adult man. Again, it looked like he might be held responsible for murder.

Then I read in the Breitbart article that older men sometimes  take on pre-pubescent MALE lovers in some bullshit cultural thing called “bacha baazi.”

WHAT?!?!? I thought it was customary for islamic “high morality” cultures to mutilate and then kill any homosexual. In this way they prevent the sullying of their “Religion of Peace” and preserving the high moral standards we’ve all come to know and “appreciate” from the followers of Islam.  Yet, here we have a cultural institution wherein homosexual behavior is apparently acceptable as long as it’s an older man with a boy whose balls haven’t dropped.

SORRY… Putting your dick in a boy, is homosexual behavior regardless of the age of the boy or how many wives you have.

What happens if the boy happens to develop a preference for male sex when he becomes an adult?

Well, we know that answer.  Presumably after enduring years of shame and humiliation, he gets caught with another man and then endures being imprisoned, mutilated, then fucked by the prison guards before he’s taken out and beheaded, stoned, or hung.

Were I twenty years younger I’d sign up for college, then become a physicist with but one goal in mind.

I’d find a way to create a singularity sphere like the ones in The Arrival.  Then I’d happily drop a dozen or so of those puppies all over Afghanistan.

If you don’t remember, these things were flat cool. They lift off, scan the area, then suck everything into a singularity. 

No fuss, no muss, probably nothing more than just a brief wink of X-ray radiation as the surrounding matter disappears into the singularity’s event horizon. 

Totally excellent devices for urban renewal or to dispose of a vermin problem.

I used to apply the lesson learned when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, Spare the innocent…

Now I’ve come to think that euthanasia in these shitholes might be a more merciful option.

They’re PRO-Amnesty and are Chanting “White Supremacists out”

The only problem(s) are:

Apparently, The Aztecs were among the most Xenophobic civilizations on the planet. Their enemies ended up with their still beating hearts being ripped out of their chests, and their bodies rolled down the steps of a pyramid. 

According to one article the Aztecs were so vicious that surrounding tribes joined Cortéz when they understood he was trying to destroy the Aztecs.

If ANYONE would have been a group of <blank> supremacists it was the Aztecs. 

And 

Being anti-amnesty isn’t the same as being a White Supremacist.

Then again, facts, and common sense often go out the window when you’re trying to justify a position that you know is inherently wrong.

Verizon is raising the DSL rate

Verizon SUCKS!!!!

I Just got a notice, they’re bumping the rate up $5 a month.

Funny, I haven’t increased my utilization of the DSL by $5 a month, nor has their service improved in quality by $5 a month.

So why am I seeing a rate hike?

I’d be ok with it if I got better than 2.56 Mbps download and .71 Mbps upload but I don’t. And there’s no option for me to buy a faster connection.

For years, the people of this town have been fighting with Verizon to provide better service. In response, Verizon, for a time simply refused to install any new DSL connections. After the town fathers went to the PUC, explaining that Verizon’s actions were impairing new business and devaluing existing properties, Verizon grudgingly began installing new DSL service.

Charter

The local cable company has been claiming they were going to install the new cable hotness where you’d have cable, telephone, and internet.

We’ve stopped holding our breath for that. The local cable company can’t even provide HD much less any of the high speed data connections that would be necessary.

AT&T claims they have U-Verse until you call them. Then all the sudden they can’t seem to find your address.

ATT UVerse

Which leaves Verizon as the monopolistic provider of telephone & DSL service that disables 911 if someone in a town 15 miles away happens to cut a fiber optic line.

Yep, you read that right… a Fiber optic line gets cut in Phelan and my town suddenly has no phone service, no DSL, and no 911.

After the last time someone cut the fiber in Phelan, Verizon reactivated their local switching station and if we dial the old 7 digit local phone numbers instead of the full area code and number we can at least call the fire department.

PUC California

To force Verizon to reactivate their substation in town, required the town fathers to have a meeting where not only the PUC, but also a Congressman from the US house of Representatives were present demanding answers of the Verizon representatives.

Answers to basic questions like “Why don’t you have a backup plan?”

“How do you justify leaving a community of 3000 people (many of whom are elderly) with zero ability to call their local firehouse?”

Suddenly Verizon decided something needed to be done.

Funny that 3000 people calling and complaining with valid concerns is easily ignored but a PUC rep and Congressman asking the same questions is taken seriously.

Verizon truly sucks.

US House of Representatives

I’ll dig up the PUC address, write a letter and ask them why they granted a rate hike to Verizon.

I strongly suspect Verizon has said the rate hike is about the expense of maintaining “outdated” technology to the town. Verizon will have neglected to tell the PUC that this is the ONLY technology available to the town.

The other folks in the town will write similar letters, be ignored, and then we’ll demand a PUC hearing, and invite a Congressman.

Verizon will rescind the $5 charge with a mumbled “Ooops” as an apology. Then they’ll hike the rates by slamming some other “fees” at a later time.

The Congressman will enjoy his time here and do a little campaigning.

All will return to normal in my little town.
