I’m OUT! National Guard is unassing from Los Angeles, Karen Bass calls it “Victory”, Adam Schiff says they were abused

Could it be that they were no longer needed? How about maybe it was determined that the “protests” and threat of riot was less an issue than previously thought?

Especially since not all of the troops are leaving, The Marines, and around half of the National Guard troops that were deployed, are still in Los Angeles. ICE is still rounding up & deporting people.

Bass, Schiff, and the news media are predictably tap dancing on table tops. Claiming that their “Actions” ie running their mouths continuously had some effect.

Odds are that if that were to happen, it will go largely unreported by the media. That is, until city blocks are on fire, the fires can be seen from space and it can’t be swept under the carpet anymore.

Bass portrayed the withdrawal of 2,000 troops — which she described as a “retreat” — as a “major victory” for the unity of Los Angeles. “They are leaving! They are retreating! We stood strong! We peacefully protested!”

Really? What exactly did Bass do? Bitched, pissed, moaned, went to protests, and filed lawsuits. I find myself wondering if Bass talking this kind of shit will encourage idiots in LA to believe that they can be bolder and interfere more with ICE. A “Retreat” is very different from a withdrawal. Retreat implies that the retreating army was taking unacceptable losses. Why the hell would she use that word? Unless she’s trying to gin up violence against those that remain and ICE.

Schiff is claiming that Trump used the National Guard for theater. I firmly believe Sen. Adam Schiff 640x480.everything that asshole says is a fucking lie, and that he’s more crooked than a mountain country road. So I tend to ignore his bug eyed visage and anything he says automatically. However in this case, after reading the transcript of the sewage flowing from his mouth, I’ll say this:

Given LA’s history… (Hell, I’ve been in Southern California through innumerable riots starting with Rodney King going forward to the summer of love watching fires and looting,) the preponderance of illegals in LA, and the reduction in LAPD. I think Trump deploying the National Guard was the right thing to do, and Schiff once again demonstrates his failure to grasp reality.

Trump was damned if he did and damned if he didn’t. Had he not deployed them, and the city burned, then Schiff & Bass would be bitching the Trump didn’t care, and didn’t provide the necessary resources to protect the city.

Kind of like what the Lying scumbag Democrats did after the events of Jan 6th. We all know that Pelosi and the Mayor of D.C. declined to have National Guard deployed. It’s on record. Not that the media reported who declined the National Guard after Jan 6th. Before Jan 6th, media outlets castigated Trump for his “insanity” in offering the Troops.

The majority voted for Trump, and by extension voted for ICE to deport illegal aliens.

That a minority is unhappy with the outcome of “Democracy” is interesting. 8 months ago these same people were shouting from the rooftops that we had to “Protect our Democracy”.

Well in a Democracy, it’s majority rule… 

So Mayor Bass, Governor Newsom, Senator Schiff, what’s the problem?

Democracy has been saved…

You folks just don’t like getting being on the receiving end of the un-lubed dildo of pure “Democracy”.

Sorry, Don’t mean to keep bashing Bass, but does she hear herself?

Uhhh. Lady, their mission has been pretty straight forward.

Let me lay it out for you:

Find Illegal Aliens
Deport Same

Really easy, no mystery, it’s not complicated. If the federal agents were at MacArthur Park they were either staging for their next raid, or they already knew the park was loaded with illegals.

The ICE folks have a damn clear directive. One, that by the way, isn’t necessarily only from The President so much as from the people who voted him into office.

The brilliant Mayor Bass went on to say she was worried about the Feds drawing a crowd. A crowd of what? Anti-ICE protestors? Seems to me if violence were to ensue having it confined to MacArthur Park would be better than having yet more riots in the streets of Los Angeles. 

This batshit crazy, ineffective Mayor was “Horrified” that the Feds were heavily armed. Really? With all the violence various politicians have been encouraging toward them, they better be fucking heavily armed.

Given that a lot of the illegals ICE is hunting down are affiliated with gangs and cartels, who are among the most violent criminals on the planet it should come as no surprise that they’re “loaded for bear”. 

One should also note that thus far, the Feds haven’t resorted to armed combat. If the illegal community is so scared they have an option. They can leave! I suspect that any day now, the cartels will open fire on ICE, and when they do I sincerely hope that battle will be definitively one sided.

I know I’m completely over hearing about folks that have been here 20 years and haven’t filed a shred of paperwork to become US Citizens. How many “Amnesty” programs have they blown off? How many opportunities have these folks had to go through a streamlined process where their illegal crossing put them ahead of the people patiently waiting on legal entry?

I personally have no more pity, no more mercy, and no more patience. I don’t want to have to pick a number for English when I call a business. I shouldn’t have to, this is my country and regardless of us not having an official language, we speak English here.

As a citizen, I shouldn’t be forced to speak Spanish. I shouldn’t have to have a translation program running on my computer or phone just to interact in my daily life.

My legal Mexican neighbors speak flawless English. One of my favorite doctors spoke perfect English, he was born in Mexico. My Brother in law, and his family speak perfect English. (His parents have a bit of a thick accent but they speak English, which is much better than my Spanish. Although they smile & sometimes laugh at my attempts, his Mom always politely corrects my mispronunciations.)

The difference? They all wanted to be here, they all wanted to assimilate, they all are proud to be Americans, and none of them are criminals. Oh, and they’ll drop a dime faster than I do, on anyone that’s breaking the law especially illegals or cartel members.

All these folks celebrate the Fourth of July and many of them took a very dim view of cities cancelling Fourth of July celebrations because illegals are being deported. Several commented that this was yet one more thing that the illegals fucked up for everyone else.

So perhaps Mayor “Tone Deaf” should stop pandering, and get with the program. Mayor Bass needs to get the Palisades construction moving. She needs to turn the LAPD loose to clean up the streets, and if a few eggs get broken in the process, so be it.

And now Mayor Bass is suing the Trump administration over the ICE raids. She announced on Wednesday, LA is joining in a private class action lawsuit. What exactly does that mean?

LA and California are already in financial troubles and she’s going to spend yet more of a limited resource to pursue litigation that will probably not go anywhere. But it will line the pockets of various attorneys. You don’t suppose that Mayor Bass has any connection to those attorneys do you?

I mean it’s likely that she’s not going to be re-elected. She shouldn’t have been elected in the first place in my opinion. But, if she’s not going to be re-elected, how ever will she continue to be wealthy?

Were I in her position, a private class action lawsuit might be a great way to siphon money out of the city budget and through kickbacks from the various law firms line my own pockets.

Los Angeles County officials are offering aid to illegal aliens too. Why?

If you ask yourself, “what has Karen Bass actually done to benefit Los Angeles?” What answer do you come up with?

Recently, there were several human interest reports about a 114 year old restaurant closing. This place is a landmark and the home of the “French Dip”. This story follows many others detailing landmark businesses closing after decades of notoriety.

The reporters expressed sadness at the place closing, but few asked why. Was it the crime, the homeless people, the foul stench of LA Streets, junkies shooting up in business doorways? Or was it that people are leaving LA, or not visiting because on some level they’ve come to realize the city is going down. Just like San Francisco.

I’ve seen this show before. San Bernardino California, and other parts of the Inland Empire have slowly degraded. Businesses closing, malls, etc. are simply gone one day.

At first you don’t notice it. Just a few empty storefronts and you think “I wonder what’s going to replace ‘X’. Then nothing replaces the missing business. A few more stores or restaurants close, then pretty soon entire blocks of buildings are dark. Graffiti starts creeping like a fungus across the boarded up windows. Pretty soon there are squatters who’ve broken through the boards and the glass. Then more homeless people.

Walking past the structures you see humans reverting to something more primitive. The strung out junkie with her legs open on a filthy mattress hoping the man using her has a fix. Sellers of scrap & stolen goods operating openly on the street. Drug deals, and prostitution on all the corners of the “Dead Zone” and traffic wizzing through the area praying that they don’t catch any red lights. After a while the police don’t even bother. Most of the crime is criminal on criminal and their only job at that point is to load bodies into the coroner’s van and pick up shell casings.

There will never be any witnesses coming forward so it doesn’t matter if they get there in 5 minuets or 5 hours. Whatever happens is going to result in no leads, no arrests, and no prosecution.

I saw it up close and personal in San Bernardino. The nation is being treated to the “LA Show” Where they get to watch a great city destroy itself though nothing more than poor policies and terrible management.

Take note, Gavin Newsom has presided over a lot of the most recent failures in California. Do you really want Newsom as President?

I’m having my coffee, and there’s this dude wandering around in my yard…

6:45 AM. I’m checking my email, trying to ease into the day. A notification pops up that my external camera sees a person.

I ignore it, it’s been hot during the day, and a lot of folks are taking their walks or walking their dogs at the crack of dawn. No big deal…

Then the camera keeps pinging me with “Person” notifications. 

What fresh hell is this?

I bring up the camera’s display. It’s a dude in some yellow safety vest and helmet. He’s over dressed for the ambient temperate and he’s literally in my yard walking back and forth poking at the ground. There’s no insignia on his clothing, not even a company name stenciled on the safety vest. What the hell is this guy doing?

I pull on a pair of shorts & head for the front door. My trusty baseball bat is in its usual position next to the front door.

As I step out on my front deck he’s startled. 

“Can I help you?” I ask.

He mutters something about looking at the electric poles.

I point out that the electric poles are currently behind him, and typically one looks UP at the poles, and does not poke around in the dirt in someone’s yard to inspect them.

Then he references the pole behind my house, not on my property, which does not supply power to my house and in fact is supplying a home the next street down.

I say, “That pole is not mine, not on my property, does not supply my house, and is accessible from the next road down.”

Then he starts to get snippy and agitated. At this point, I reach inside for my trusty baseball bat.

Seeing the bat, and my obvious willingness to casually hit a home run with his head, he backs out of my yard and makes like he’s inspecting the power poles at the front of my property.

He might legitimately have been working for one of the contracting fucks employed by the electric company.

But if so, why was he wandering around my yard and up the side of my house? Why was his face covered? Why did his safety helmet and vest both look like they’d been pulled brand new out of a box? Where was his vehicle?

Even if he was one of the contractors, was this guy scoping out my house and others on the street with the intention of making a little side money by breaking and entering?

I don’t know, but he disappeared pretty quickly after our encounter. Notably, he went back downhill without “Inspecting” any other poles on the street.

Shortly after, I took the dog for a walk. No sign of the guy, There is one of the contractors trimming trees about 1/2 mile away. They’ve screwed up the traffic for people trying to get in or out of this part of town. 1 mile further down on the highway there’s another crew who’ve got power lines on the ground from one side of the wash to the other. Jesse was not amused that we couldn’t get to our normal walking path because of these workmen.

They were literally cutting the tops of power poles off. I’ve noticed that some poles are being replaced throughout town, so maybe that’s what this is about. 

But why was this guy wandering around acting all shady?

Maybe I’m just too suspicious. Then again maybe not…

Didn’t see that coming, apparently neither did Iran.

Trump took out Iran’s uranium refineries. 

Good! The last people on the planet that should have nuclear weapons, or even nuclear materials is a bunch of 12th century religious zealots.

Since the days of Carter, I’ve suggested that we give Iran nuclear weapons – Pointy end first. Then erect a huge monument to stupidity that could be seen from orbit on the foot thick slab of glass that used to be Iran.

I looked at it as a twofer, maybe a threefer. We’d get rid of the crazy mullahs, combat climate change with the dust the blast would kick into the atmosphere, and send a very clear concise message to terrorists that their unending violence would not be tolerated.

Most people told me my suggestion was extreme. Maybe…

I’ve mellowed over the years, largely due to my other half being such a just and kind person. I’m still in favor of terrorists being shot on sight. I’m not particularly interested in trials or appeals for them.

Which is why I have no pity for Gaza. The Palestinians were given the land, allowed to create their own governance, and chose a terrorist organization to be their government. What they’ve done over the years, and in particular on Oct 7 deserves no mercy, no pity, and no survivors.

It’s not hatred that I feel, it’s exhaustion. The entire Middle East has exhausted me.

Send all their “immigrants” back from Western countries, quarantine the area, then let them murder each other at will. Wait 50 or 100 years then check on them to see if any of them had evolved beyond the 12th century.

This morning Iran is crying to the UN about not being able to make “Mostly Peaceful” Nuclear weapons. At the same time they’re still lobbing “Mostly Peaceful” ballistic missiles at Israel. I’d laugh if I didn’t know that the UN will of course condemn the US for burying a shit ton of uranium in the desert.

To be clear, I disagree with Israel launching the first missiles at Iran. I think it might not have been that great an idea.

I guess they had their reasons, and I don’t know enough to really assess what the motivation was. In general I’m in favor of destroying Iranian ability to sponsor global terrorist networks, piracy on the high seas, and God knows what other shenanigans they’re behind on the global stage.

Iran should be glad people with Western values are choosing tactical targets. I suspect that if someone were motivated, almost every city in Iran could be leveled in less than 24 hours.

I’m reasonably sure that as long as the oil production sites weren’t significantly damaged, no-one would give a shit. Perhaps it could be sold to the rest of the world as, “For the Greater Good”. That seems to carry weight with a lot of people these days.

It would do my evil little heart good to see tons of Americans out on the streets shouting “Death to Iran” or “Murder a Mullah for God”. Burning effigies, Iranian flags, and such.

I’m just sick and tired of being extorted by Iran (how many billions have been given to them to “buy” peace?) Maybe I’m sick of having to be “Nice”. Maybe I’m just tired of chaos.

I don’t want any American boots on the ground in the Middle East ever again. But I wouldn’t be opposed to making an example of the primary ringleaders of chaos from the air.

I’m glad Trump bombed the shit out of their facilities. Now let Israel finish the job.

Rumor has it, Iran has ordered the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Even though it would mean escalation of hostilities, I’m not opposed to the US Navy hunting down and sinking every Iranian warship. While we’re at it, destroy every single Iranian military aircraft.

I’m also for isolating them from the internet, and seizing all their foreign assets, including bank accounts, then returning that money to the American Taxpayer as reparations for PTSD.

If you deny the Mullahs the ability to make war, then you won’t have war.

Hey, at least I’m not advocating burning their fields and villages then plowing salt into the ground.

I just watched Mayor Bass’s press conference

Frankly I’m confused.

On the one hand she kept stressing that if people do something illegal, they’ll be arrested. Okay…

In the same breath she’s telling ICE to stop arresting people. Which is it lady?

ICE is arresting people who supposedly are here illegally. So I really don’t understand. 

Today, there are scattered reports of Marines from 29 Palms being sent to Los Angeles. I have questions about this too.

The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 prevents the use of military personnel in domestic law enforcement unless authorized by law. I don’t know who makes that authorization, I presume Congress. So I’m concerned on two fronts:

1) Has Trump violated his boundaries as defined by Congressional oversight? 2) If the Marines are being deployed I’m concerned that Marines will be standing around with big assed targets on their backs.

Mayor Bass was trying to pull heart strings taking about how fearful the immigrants are in Los Angeles. Duh! If you’re here illegally, whether it’s a day or a decade you have broken the law.

You should be afraid, if you’re smart, you should be planning to pack up your shit, and go home. If you’re self deporting heading for Tijuana I doubt seriously ICE is going to stop you.

Mayor Bass said, “Stop the raids, they’re causing fear and chaos in our city.”

So what the fuck does she propose? Obviously the raids will be ongoing. She’s asking for the US to continue to accept illegal immigrants. They’re blaming Trump. In my opinion they should be blaming Biden.

If you think about it, had Biden not thrown the borders wide open, then everything would have continued on status quo. But Biden’s actions pissed off a rather large swath of the American populace and this is the inevitable backlash.

As my mother used to say, “All it takes is a few bad apples and everyone loses the ability to do something.”

In this case, there were too many illegal crossings, most of them barely vetted, and then they disappeared into the interior of the country with the help of federally funded relocation via buses, planes, trains, and automobiles.

Hell, the illegals were allowed to get onto planes with virtually zero documentation while American Citizens were almost being strip searched to get on a plane.

While our elders, were squeaking by on an average of $1500 a month, the illegals were having housing provided, getting stipends of 3 or 4 thousand dollars per month, getting free medical care, and getting free phone service.

Surely someone in the Biden administration, at some point had to think, “Maybe this isn’t a good idea.”

Granted, It had probably been going on for years, but with so many people surging the border the fact that illegals were being treated better than Americans who’d worked their whole lives paying into a system that congress has raided innumerable times and who effectively betrayed them, couldn’t be hidden anymore.

Of course there was going to be a backlash, well this is it.

As I watched Mayor Bass’s conference, I couldn’t help thinking that this was a Mayor who was clueless and flailing. Newsom is no better.
