It was a puff piece that was entertaining.<\/p>\n<p>Then I noticed the masthead<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/1449960324_full.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/1449960324_thumb.png\" alt=\"\" align=\"middle\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Okay, I thought, then I wondered if there was a \u201cHUFFPOST MEN\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guess what? There isn\u2019t!<\/p>\n<p>WTF? That\u2019s exclusionary of 50% of the population. It\u2019s sexist! Where is the justice? Are we looking at another gamer gate situation? I cry FOUL! Men have issues and need places online where they feel safe and where issues of specific interest to men can be discussed.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, yeah, I know it sounds silly when I say it, but why isn\u2019t it silly on it\u2019s face?<\/p>\n<p>Look at the selections offered under \u201cVoices\u201d. Notice anything?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/1449960761_full.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/1449960761_thumb.png\" alt=\"\" align=\"middle\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Think about who\u2019s missing?<\/p>\n<p>Men, and Asians. It occurs to me that generally those two groups are not prone to bitching about much of anything. All the other groups pretty much bitch or scream about some perceived discrimination or slight at the drop of a hat.<\/p>\n<p>To their credit, the \u201cReligion&#8221; section does a pretty good job of representing everyone. I went there because another group missing from the \u201cVoices\u201d subheading is Muslims. They are represented under \u201cReligion\u201d with an interesting balance.<\/p>\n<p>So Huffington Post, where are the Men and people from Asia? Why aren\u2019t they receiving fair representation?<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, I know I\u2019m weird. I have this perverse sense that if you demand equality and claim to stand for equality then you should truly be, well\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Egalitarian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Huffington Post editors and writers, If you don\u2019t know what that word means, I have two comments for you. 1) You paid too much for your education. 2) You need to go buy a Webster\u2019s Dictionary.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saw an article on The Huffington Post the other day.
