The county has decided not only to make the flood control wash behind our homes a never-ending “Make Work” project.<\/p>\n

NOW they’ve decided that it’s worthy of weekend work. No doubt time & 1\/2 or more rates. <\/p>\n

So after slugging our way home on a Friday evening, the residents get assaulted again.<\/p>\n

I spent 2 hours going 40 miles thanks to the construction mess on the I-15. Then I got to spend another 45 minutes on HWY 138 covering 5 miles due to more construction mess.<\/em><\/p>\n

NOW my commuter neighborhood gets to have heavy equipment running directly behind our homes kicking up dust and the incessant noise beginning at 8AM on a Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

I’m fortunate, I can close my home up and turn on the A\/C. Most of the rest of the neighbors don’t have that luxury.<\/p>\n

But the question remains, why the hell are these assholes doing this shit today? Does this work need to be done on a weekend? Is this about some guys padding their paychecks?<\/p>\n

OR<\/p>\n

It is just a big FUCK YOU to the residents?<\/p>\n
