The operative word is HAD. I drive an hour to get to the appointment. I walk in, I\u2019m early, and I\u2019m expecting to fill out the obligatory paperwork.<\/p>\n<p>I hand the little bitch behind the counter my ID and insurance card and she tell me that I have an Obamacare plan and they don\u2019t accept those.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/NewImage33.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4486\" src=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/NewImage33.png\" alt=\"NewImage.png\" width=\"249\" height=\"202\" \/><\/a>I tell her my plan is not Obamacare and that given my premiums I expect a little privacy instead of her announcing that I have an Obamacare plan.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m LESS than amused. Since I, as a consumer cannot determine if the plan I\u2019m paying through the nose for is Obamacare or not, at least not by looking at the fucking insurance card. However I\u2019m really torqued out of shape about the \u201cAnnouncement\u201d that I have an Obamacare plan I don\u2019t like the stigma associated with Obamacare.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/NewImage13.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4391\" src=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/NewImage13.png\" alt=\"NewImage.png\" width=\"224\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/NewImage13.png 224w, https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/NewImage13-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/a>This doctor will not be seeing me. I will not do business with a doctor whose staff is so indiscreet. I felt like she\u2019d just told the full waiting room something like; \u201cOH your lab results came back you have Syphillis!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lets be realistic the doctor patient relationships is a BUSINESS relationship akin to Client \/ Attorney privilege.<\/p>\n<p>So I\u2019ll be back on the phone with the damn insurance idiots this afternoon to determine if this plan is actually OBAMAFUCKINGCARE. If it is, then we\u2019re going to have a conversation that may require a Valium on my part.<\/p>\n<p>As I write this, I\u2019m sitting on a patio at a StarBucks having a treat. Sometimes you just need to have some fun.<\/p>\n<p>If the Arabs would shut the hell up it would be a perfect situation.
