We had a fire over the hill. Nothing threatening to my town, but the smoke during the evenings backed up against the mountain and irritated the heck out of my sinuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nothing abnormal there, however this time I got a bit of a sinus infection, and just as that was clearing my ears got plugged with an infection. Even that wouldn\u2019t be a big deal or even really out of the ordinary. With me, getting one usually leads to the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But\u2026 combine those two things and the brutal heat wave\u2026 Well, let\u2019s just say I\u2019ve been napping A LOT. I haven\u2019t felt like doing much of anything. Neither has the dog. He sleeps most of the day when it\u2019s hot like this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was able to muster enough energy to bathe him. He generally doesn\u2019t like being wet but I think he\u2019s figured out that when it\u2019s this hot, being wet and having lots of attention even though the \u201cEvil Hose\u201d is pointed at him isn\u2019t completely terrible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first bath he was really not happy with me. The second bath, after I\u2019d toweled him off he got the Zoomies and we played a bit while he was drying off. By \u201cPlay\u201d I mean I\u2019d throw the ball, he\u2019d bring it back and I\u2019d brush him for a few minutes then I\u2019d have to throw the ball again. It\u2019s possible that he knows I haven\u2019t been feeling well and decided to go easy on me. I\u2019m curious to see what he\u2019ll be like after I bathe him for the third time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It seems as if he\u2019s figuring out that I\u2019m not mad, and just trying to make him feel more comfortable. He\u2019s shedding a lot right now, I don\u2019t know if he\u2019s prepping for Winter or if he\u2019s adapting to the heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I haven\u2019t been paying much attention to the news. I did see some report that Gabbert released something that appears to point to corruption against Trump from the CIA\/FBI\/Clintons, and possibly the Obama administration. I haven\u2019t had the energy or interest to dig through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At this point all they do is investigate. I\u2019m not going to be impressed until I see the perpetrators on their knees begging for mercy. I\u2019d probably be greatly amused to see congress surrounded by people with pitchforks and torches. I\u2019ve gotten tired of \u201crevelations\u201d that lead absolutely nowhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I heard something about Trump threatening to federalize D.C. in an attempt to quell the out of control crime. That would be interesting. Not sure how or if that would work, but it would sure be \u201cMust See TV\u201d.<\/p>\n
