There\u2019s an article in Breitbart<\/em><\/a> this morning saying that Porn stars have launched a “hands off my porn” campaign and are donating 100,000.00 in ad material to the Harris \/ Walz campaign.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also an article in The Hill<\/em><\/a> The article cited in Breitbart<\/em> was in The New York Times<\/em> and behind a paywall. If you\u2019ve got access to The Times you can read it there.<\/p>\n

This is in response to Project 2025.<\/p>\n

Project 2025 can be downloaded for free from Project2025.org<\/a><\/p>\n

However it will cost you an email address. If you\u2019re like me, providing another email address to be put on another SPAM mailing list is just not something you want to do.<\/p>\n

(Yes, I know this blog sometimes pops up asking for an email address and when I figure out which module it’s coming from I\u2019ll brutally rip the code out. I didn\u2019t EVER want this blog to make you feel like I was collecting email addresses for resale. I think that message has something to do with EU regulations.<\/em>)<\/p>\n

Anyway, I pulled my copy of Project 2025 out of the archive and did a search. Pornography is referenced 4 times in the document. There is also recommendation that Pornography be made illegal. So the porn actors have a point.<\/p>\n

Reading a bit deeper, it looks like the recommendation deals more with what would be considered pornographic books, & performances in libraries for underage children. There is also some ink spent on the elimination of “child pornography\u201d.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a term which is becoming increasingly non specific. Are we talking about pornography in which children are victimized and the performers? Or are we talking about what could be described as pornographic material written for children. The first should unquestionably be illegal.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t try to deny that inappropriate material has been sold to various schools for inclusion in their libraries!\u00a0<\/p>\n

There have been numerous examples of books taken from school libraries which when read out loud to various school boards caused the censure, removal & threat of arrest, of the Parent reading the material. These things are all over YouTube.<\/p>\n

Folks, if adults can\u2019t handle the material being read out loud in a school board meeting, it doesn\u2019t belong on the shelves of a school where underage children can read it. I say this as someone who was really PISSED off that all the Gray\u2019s Anatomy books in my high school had the entire endocrine system razored out.<\/p>\n

I went to the local university to finish that particular report. I was super pissed off about censorship and to this day censorship is anathema to me.<\/p>\n

That being said, Gray\u2019s Anatomy, is very different from, \u201cTommy slid his finger slowly into Jimmy\u2019s tight little hole, opening the ring of muscle gently. Jimmy panted and moaned, raising his butt higher \u00a0begging for Tommy to put the small dildo inside him.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

I say that as a writer of porn.<\/p>\n

There are some things that children should discover in their own time, clumsily, naively, even stupidly. They should probably have a general sketch of Tab A, goes into Slot B, or Slot C, or even Slot D.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m in favor of that knowledge being readily available when the boy\u2019s balls drop, & when the girls notice their breasts are tender and swelling. But they don\u2019t need to have their innocence ripped away, with knowledge about pegging, and puppy play by the time they\u2019re 6.<\/p>\n

So with that in mind, I think the Porn actors have a point. I also think that it would be very reasonable to ask the authors of Project 2025 what precisely they mean or intend. Then suggest that they clean up their language to specifically and clearly delineate what they mean, in these passages.<\/p>\n

What I\u2019m not sure about is if all of this will help the Harris \/ Walz campaign. There are a shit load of conservative pundits who will take this and paint the Harris \/ Walz campaign as one of absolute depravity.<\/p>\n

I personally think that Project 2025 wrote what they wrote, in response to the Drag Queen Story hour horseshit that was going on in various places. Yeah, I called it horseshit and I meant it.<\/p>\n

Drag performances in my opinion, have no place in schools, libraries, or in front of children. If I have to pay a cover and be over 21 to go to a bar where a drag performance is going on, then clearly it is an \u201cAdult\u201d activity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

These people who forced this crap then tried to gaslight all the rest of us as if we were wrong, bigots, homophobes, transphobes, deviants, or whatever, brought it on themselves, and frankly fucked over the rest of the LGB community. So thanks for that, you motherfuckers!<\/p>\n

Thanks for fucking up decades of effort and work to be accepted. Assholes!<\/p>\n
