{"id":13237,"date":"2023-09-22T06:24:51","date_gmt":"2023-09-22T13:24:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/?p=13237"},"modified":"2023-09-22T12:05:09","modified_gmt":"2023-09-22T19:05:09","slug":"ahhh-thats-much-better","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/2023\/09\/22\/ahhh-thats-much-better\/","title":{"rendered":"Ahhh, That&#8217;s MUCH Better!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I broke out the Looney Tunes DVDs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" style=\"float: right;\" title=\"bugs_bunny (4).png\" src=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/bugs_bunny-4.png\" alt=\"Bugs bunny  4\" width=\"334\" height=\"409\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Odd as it may sound, watching Bugs Bunny and all the rest of the looney tunes characters makes a lot more sense than watching anything about the government.<\/p>\n<p>There is a part of me that likens Bugs Bunny to Donald Trump, in that Bugs really knows how to get under someone\u2019s skin and Bugs always comes out on top.<\/p>\n<p>I can say that watching Looney Tunes is probably more productive than watching hearings wondering why our lawmakers don\u2019t slap the shit out of Merrick Garland.<\/p>\n<p>I was listening to the hearings and thought I\u2019d like to drive to DC, walk into the hearing and say, \u201cExcuse ME!\u201d \u00a0I\u2019d slap the shit out of that fuck Garland, then tell Jim Jordan, \u201cI\u2019ll be standing right here if you need my services again sir!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d never do it but that doesn\u2019t mean that it shouldn\u2019t be done! Garlands testimony is beyond maddening. As a citizen, his attitude toward answering questions posed to him by congress really pisses me off.<\/p>\n<p>Those representatives, are OUR proxies. His disrespect toward them is disrespectful to Us.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" style=\"float: right;\" title=\"s-l500.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/bone-in-the-throat.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/s-l500.jpg\" alt=\"S l500\" width=\"350\" height=\"245\" border=\"0\" \/>I know I\u2019m hard on the idiot Congress but damn it! If they won\u2019t or can\u2019t do the job, then I\u2019d be perfectly happy to step in and demand answers and respect from that nasty fucker.<\/p>\n<p>Watching Bugs Bunny is far more calming and productive.<\/p>\n<p>After all it\u2019s a foregone conclusion that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING will come of these hearings. There will never be any accountability. The FBI, IRS, and every other part of the Government will still be corrupt and will just keep getting worse.<\/p>\n<p>Watching a cultural and creative high point of America is satisfying and makes me smile!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I broke out the Looney Tunes DVDs.
