Happy Veterans Day!

Veterans

Originally the holiday was called Armistice Day and marked the end of World War I.

The armistice with Germany went into effect at the Eleventh Hour of the Eleventh Day of 1918. One year later Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the first Armistice Day.

In 1947 the meaning of the Armistice Day celebrations was expanded to include all Veterans. Then in 1954, Armistice Day was renamed to Veterans Day

Since the day is meant as a day to celebrate everybody who served in the US Armed Forces, give a Vet a hug, buy a Vet a cup of coffee, or lunch, or whatever seems appropriate to make their day.

For those of you married to, sleeping with, dating a Veteran, start their day off with sex, that’s always a great start to a celebration.

To all the Veterans in my life…

Happy Veterans Day, I love you all.
