Boulder Day 1

DSC 1637

Got a very late start today.

After a dinner Thursday night that was long and wonderful but late…

We got to the hotel and just crashed.

This morning we wandered around “Pearl Street” which is an open air shopping center that I recalled from my previous business trips. Pearl Street is a nifty bohemian , then we had a wonderful lunch.

Later in the day we went to Boulder Falls.

It was grey and overcast when I started hiking the trail that lead to the falls. I’d been standing at the falls for about 4 minutes and the sky opened up.

I was soaked to the skin in a matter of minutes.

It’s been raining off & on since then.

We’re talking rolling thunder and flashes of lightening. I’m enjoying hearing the rain pound on the roof of the hotel and I’m seriously glad I’m not out camping tonight.

Hopefully tomorrow I’ll get to a couple of other locations and get some pictures.
